Communications Committee Meeting at 8:00 Sunday
The Communications Committee is meeting again this Sunday, December 3rd, at 8:00 a.m. in the first room on the right down the hallway next to the ERC. Last week there were over 100 people in attendance. We can do much better than that! If you have questions or just want to gain information, please be there! If each person who was there last week would invite just 5 people, we could have over 500 in attendance. Please make plans now to be there. If a teaching position or other obligation keeps you from being there at 8:00, please drop in whenever you can any time between 8:00 and 9:30.

Perhaps "pastor" would like to share his opinion of the dream that never happened.
Remember we all stand in a righteousness not our own..we stand in the righteousness of our risen Lord.
You were nice enough to help “Tim and others” with their spelling in your 2:09 P.M. post, so allow me to help you with yours. Here are some of your mistakes in this thread:
1. You spelled the word "hearsay" as “hearsays.”
2. Twice you should have spelled "canceling" as "cancelling."
3. In two different posts you have spelled “apologizing” as "apoligizing."
4. You have spelled “occasional” as “occassional."
5. You spelled “receiving” as “recieving.” Remember: “I after E except after C?”
6. Don’t forget that the word “Scripture” is spelled with a capital “S”, and when you speak of the Lord using a personal pronoun, use a capital “H” when you spell “Him.”
7. When you spell “don’t”, don’t forget the apostrophe. You spelled it “dont”, a rookie mistake, but maybe these rules and others don't apply to you?
Just a couple of thoughts ...
1) Could "pastor" be Martha Wagley of FUMC? (And as an aside -- why should "pastor" be bullied with these continual insistences that he/she reveal his/her identity? Practically everyone else on this blog is allowed to remain anonymous, no matter what they say.)
2) Did Bro. Derrick perhaps stop posting on this blog because the leadership of our church asked in writing that ALL church members stop, and he is simply submitting to the authorities over him?
(And although I don't agree with everything "pastor" says -- I do agree that spellcheck could be sooooo useful to a lot of us!)

You need to clarify whether you are Pastor Gaines or not! If you are, then we will know who to attribute this "Prophecy" to if it comes to pass. If it doesn't come to pass then we will know who the false prophet is!! There is a warning for false prophets in Deut. 18.

Nothing that has been brought up today is going to take away from what is going on in the leadership of our church.
LEADERS of CHRIST`S CHURCH are people who are suppose to help us live our lives the way the Lord has commanded us to. They are suppose to be LEAD us to greener pastures with every passing day.
If I follow my pastor I would be lead to:
Lie, be deceitful, intimidate others, manipulate others, pretend everything is ok when it is not, rebuke people who ask me questions, try to destroy people`s lives, hide from the truth, pressure people into doing what I want them to do, ect....
If I follow David Coombes I would buy alcoholic drinks for my friends and family who think it`s to drink and walk down to people like deacon Emerson for no good reason other than I want to.
If I follow Harry Smith, I will make sure that I cover tracks that make me look bad and give no real answers to anyone who has any concerns that don`t concern me, among other things.
More on this later.
I have chosen to follow HESUS and this is where I place my allegiance but there are these leaders who have been placed in my life that I thought were men of integrity. I have found they are not.
Pastor Gaines, step down from the pulpit and seek counseling for yourself.
Pastor Gaines, before you go make sure the David Commbes is not left in any leadership position.
Harry Smith, Please take a breather and left someone else have a chance to serve the church. If you can`t do that, please start answering the questions!

I know the difference.I am refering to fishing.For example when Phil W. went through church records to find Josh M's attendance records to use against him,when our beloved pastor by his own words used tithes records against the members of GBC.
Thats why I belive that pastor is part of BBC"s staff or leadership he/she is as ruthless and heartless as they are,sad isn't that this is a church we are talking about.

"You're" is a contraction of "you are." "Your" is a modifier. Very simple. Do not use "you're" to modify nouns. "Your keys." "Your desk." Do not use "your" as a second-person verb phrase. "You're up early." "You're leaving?" Here's a phrase with both: "You're moving your car, right?" In other words, you are moving the car that belongs to you. "You're" = verb phrase. "Your" = adjective.

I'm confused.
I have had great concerns about the church and have been reading the blogs and web sites for some time now. The alcohol issue seems to resurface again and again and just when I think it is gone, it comes back.
Why is it such a problem? I understand the churches stand on alcohol but could someone please direct me to scripture which forbids consumption or being in the same place where consumption might take place?
And so what if Karen was at a party where alcoholic drinks were being served? As Christians we have to live in this world. We are simply commanded not to be of this world.

Karen, I admire your honesty and battle over addiction. God can deliver a person from the prison of addiction but it takes a lot of work on the part of the individual.
To all who still think Steve Gains is posting as 'pastor' I ask you to consider the amount of time 'pastor' spends posting. If SG is who you think he is, he would be too busy wrecking havoc, preaching revivals, working as a travel agent, managing his minions, and covering his tracks.

"pastor" just started yesterday @ 4 pm with his venom... His first post was dripping with anger, pride, hurt, etc... He has some knowledge of Greek and "hermeneutics"... He had some way to access Karen's past... "pastor" is condescending, sarcastic, and obviously considers themself to be more intelligent and more spiritual than those posting here... They know many scriptures by heart that they connect ot this situation... They try to protect the CC... They stick their foot in their mouth and then try to wash it out with soap... They threaten, intimidate, and leave false prophecies here...

The alcohol issue is great that you are debating, what this minister did. You have completely and openly, to your shame, disobeyed 1 Tim 5:19. Again, the wave of pity is turning against you. I am aware of the threats, 'prophetic' statements, and psychological games 'pastor' is playing. He is probably just watching Dr.Phil when he is not posting. I really don't think you have anything to fear regarding 'pastor'. I find his antics rather amusing with the exception of his vicious attacks. Karen does not deserve that. It really does not seem to be important who they are to me. They have obviously come here to be disruptive and have suceeded very well in doing so.
Very much like others that have nothing of any substance to say, but come here to create confussion. I believe that we are aware of who the author of confussion is, so it does not matter who they are, we already know whose they are and that is our true enemy.

Either way it is pitiful, that we have those within our church that would behave in this manner. It is completely unbelievable isn't it.
Let's see what is in store tomorrow.
We have a meeting with the communication committee. I am really looking forward to that. We will know after this meeting if any one on the CC is interested in truth.
The deacon body is supposed to have a meeting. If they are open and honest they may actually learn something and might decide that they need to reconsider their stance to protect Steve Gaines at all cost. They need to determine to protect Bellevue at all cost, even if that means releasing Steve Gaines.
We will get to hear a message on "forgiveness" from Steve Gaines. Remember not to shoot the messagener that manages to bungle the message. He may be out at the moment trying to stop the press to change his sermon topic. I urge everyone to search the Scripture when you hear this message to see if what the Scripture says and what he says are in agreement. Sometimes I have to wonder if some of the theology came off the back of a cereal box. Of course, when your sermons are written by first year seminary kids and then re-written to become a self-serving rendition of sermon, what do you expect?
Tomorrow night we are to get an announcement, presumably on church governance. This should be welcome news but it is my suspicion that there will be an attempt for those in power to solidify their position.
I will be surprised if the roof stays on at Bellevue tomorrow to be honest with you.

If I can add my 2 cents worth.
I don't see any reason to suspect that 'pastor' is Pastor Gaines. Just the opposite. Knowledge of Bible languages and study techniques in no way suggest that this person is the pastor of our church.
I strongly suspect that 'pastor' is a group of students trying to stir things up. My advice is to forget about it and concentrate on other things.

Don't you know that you should capitalize the first word in a sentence? If you are an adult, please go back to school yourself. Or at least brush up on your rules of capitalization so you don't make another childish mistake like this.

LOL- The whole spelling thing was nothing more than a rolled up newspaper to smack a troll on the nose. Bellevue brothers and sisters- I know it takes willpower, but if we don't feed the trolls then they will go away. Pastor, ace, hisservant, etc. seem to work in shifts. Let's just scroll on down as we start the new thread.
