In an attempt to illustrate how Bellevue has changed, can you describe the atmosphere at Bellevue when you first joined (if you can remember that long ago!) versus how it is now or how it was before you left? Did you ever "sense" anything wasn't quite right but couldn't put your finger on it?Thanks to "lynn" for this topic idea.

Poor Ms. Billie, if she recalls what SG stated re: his attachment to Calvinism, she may well be more than a suffering soul at this moment. Let's pray for her.

This statement is incorrect and you need to correct it. Dr. Gaines plainly states that he is not a Calvinist. He has stated this on several occassions as well as in the pulpit. I have spoke with him regarding his stand on this issue and he explained it very well.

Wed night my grandsons called to tell us they would be home a little late because service went on too long.
When I questioned them about it at home, they told me the singing went on for 45 min. Upon further questioning, they told me that (WITH GOD'S MONEY) they have a FOG MACHINE AND A LIGHT SHOW DURING THE MUSIC! A fog machine and light show! What is this a bar and dance hall atmosphere! Incredable!
So, I hope any of you who are still giving to Bellevue better be ready with an answer when God holds you accountable for giving to a place that abuses and uses His money for evil.
I asked about the content of the songs. Were they worship songs? They looked at each other and said: not really. Well, some of them I think they were supposed to be. Guess who the wanna abe musician is? sg daughters BOYFIREND freshly imported to Bellecvue from gardendale! Now there is a name for that.
I asked the kids if they liked it, and they said: no, not really.
I inquired what happened after the 45 mins of entertainment of the flesh and they said someone gave a message. What was it about? I don't know. Was it from the Word? No not really.
That will be the LAST time they go there if I can help it. Already the oldest has been going somewhere else, thank the Lord, and the youngest is now out.
A FOG MACHINE AND LIGHT EQUIPTMENT AND MUSIC EQUIPTMENT AND NO WORD OF GOD. THAT IS WHERE GOD'S MONEY IS GOING AT BELLEVUE NOW.
I'm just sick to my stomach. Wake up parents. Your kids don't have to go to a night club or disco. Will drinks be served next?

To support a woman minister and her stand for abortion and homosexuals
To make rich a pastor who is way over paid
to buy fog machine for teens
to by light show equiptment for teens
to pay salery of confessed sinner and unqualified pastor according to the Word of God
To pay for lawyers and legal fees
to hire and pay salery of lawyer they need on staff and then make him a "pastor" according to man
to pay for expensive dinners and entertainment of guests. Note: EXPENSIVE is the key here
to pay for hotel for wifes birthday party
to send daughter and friend of daughrters on an airline flight to pom-pom rah rah school. (Oh how necessary that one was!)
plus all we do and do not know about because they refuse to open the books to let you know how they are stewarding YOUR MONEY to the LORD>
Bellevue's gone folks. It's time to turn somewhere else. Ain't no body there!
